"Horrible Sponsor Experience!"
I invested with Inman Equities in a multifamily syndication in Florida in 2022. Since day one it has been a terrible experience. The asset has been so poorly managed, they have gone through three different property management companies. We have not made a dollar in return in almost three years. Aside from the terrible performance, the sponsor, Ben Inman and owner of the company, has communicated with us on a minimal level. The most communication we have received is in relation to a capital call that is needed to keep the asset afloat. And to top it off, we never received our K-1 for 2023! Didn't think that would be possible, but after several emails and follow ups asking "where in the world is our K-1??" they just shut communications down. Never seen that before. Just a terrible sponsor all around who not only doesn't know what he's doing, but refuses to communicate with his investors. I would avoid this company at all costs!
